Updates

All updates provided to Coaches' and attending teams will be posted below, as well as on our Coaches' Communiques Document.

Communication 1: September 27th

We’re excited to announce the 1st Annual CurdSO Invitational, running via a Satellite format on Scilympiad from February 1st-9th for Division B and February 8th-16th for Division C. These dates give teams 2 full weekends to take the tests, along with one of the weekends being shared for B/C. There is no limit to the number of teams per school or number of teams that can attend this tournament.

We will be running all 23 events in both Division B and C, along with many fun trial events including a trivia event about Cheese. Our full event slate can be found here.

All tests, keys, and histograms will be publicly released after the competition period has concluded.

The cost of registration for this tournament is $80 for each team (includes 23 events + 5 trials), OR $5 per event. Further details regarding policies for the individual can be found here

All extra proceeds from this invitational will go towards a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Madison working to help support students in STEM.

While trial events will be free of cost, a team must register for at least 5 individual events or as a full team to compete in them.

The registration will be done through Scilympiad, and will open up later this fall.

Finally, we are looking for some Alumni volunteers or High School writers with a history of writing quality tests to help us run the tournament, the application for which can be found here: https://forms.gle/WNP8f7TvuR6gjoYN7
